Handmade olive wood bowls in various sizes with semi rustic live edge/bark rim. Perfect centrepiece for any indoor or outdoor dining occasion.
All our bowls are made by a third generation craftsman. The hardwood and impermeable properties of olive wood make it ideal for serving food and keeping the bowl stain and odour free.
The bowls take a full 60 days to create. The wood is gently dried in the sun or kiln dried in the cooler months. It is then hand calved using a lathe. The bowl comes to life as the natural checks, knots and patterns emerge and the contours of the bark are used to design the final shape, depth and size of the bowl.
